Overview

PSG managed the buildout of a new addition to Northrop Grumman’s Salt Lake City, Utah campus. The facility was a part of the expansion of their Navigation Systems Division. This project was preceded by PSG successfully coordinating a restack of Northrop Grumman’s 500,000 SF Division Headquarters in California.

PSG provided an on-site Senior Project Manager during the project.  The ground-up steel-frame building was designed for new state-of-the-art production facilities including clean room space, as well as a new shipping/receiving dock, conference center, wellness center and executive office space.

Project Highlights

Within the first 2 weeks of construction, PSG completed excavation and major demolition to a portion of an existing building, including structural additions to an existing roof section.

PSG achieved several successful monthly product tests and deadlines with little or no effects to the construction schedule.

We met the initial occupancy schedule and exceeded Northrop Grumman’s target by more than a month.

PSG provided valuable resources and recommendations to Northrop by understanding both the present and future needs of the organization.

At the conclusion of the project, PSG had identified over thousands of dollars in total savings through drawing coordination, value engineering, and cost avoidance.
