Overview

Capital One Financial Corporation is a McLean, Virginia-based bank and Fortune 500 Company. Project Solutions Group (PSG) and Capital One enjoy a successful and continuing relationship that began in 2004.

PSG provides Project and Construction Management Services for Capital One ranging from multi-million dollar mission critical facilities, branch bank construction, tenant interior renovations, new construction of stand-alone banking facilities, to complete renovation of their multi-building campus.

Project Highlights

Multi-building Corporate Campus, Richmond, VA

PSG’s four-person team includes two on-site personnel managing the complete renovation of campus buildings. PSG implemented a team approach with the proper mix of design, construction, and financial skillsets that will serve as a model for forthcoming projects.

Knolls Data Center, Richmond, VA

PSG managed design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of the 23,000 SF Tier 3 data center. We delivered the mission critical facility 18% under budget. The data center received Green Building Initiative’s (GBI) One Green Globe Certification and the CoreNet Global Mid-Atlantic Service Provider of the Year Leadership Award.

Call Center, Tulsa, OK

PSG managed the 80,000 SF call center constructed within an occupied facility. We utilized Capital One’s collaboration system to procure design and GC services while integrating vendor requirements into the design and construction processes.

Capital One Bank Branch, McLean, VA     

This bank branch involved converting 2,000 SF of existing offices into a high-end banking facility with secure access. PSG delivered the project ahead of schedule using an integrated design/build team approach, and redesigning/re-installing existing furniture.
